THANK YOU to my THUMBIES

Thumbies,

Thank you for your patience! This season has been one of my toughest. The weeds have taken over many lawns. The several inches of rain in the spring and the 90 degree weather has made a definite impact on my lawns. I have never purchased AND used as much weed control in the past as I have this year. At this time of the year, I am normally manicuring lawns and spot spraying sedge and small...SMALL patches of crabgrass. Unfortunately, while trying to manicure lawns, we are also spraying entire lawns with sedge control and/or crabgrass control.

The drying of the soil has created cracks and then crabgrass has re-germinated. Sedge always appears due to the intense heat and fertilizer (remember, sedge is grass and thus, can be fertilized). I am sorry that this has happened but mother nature is to blame. All we can do is control the weeds when we see them. Some lawns have been burnt while others, right next door, look beautiful. Why does this happen...again, I don't know. Are some being watered while others aren't? Is there more traffic on one lawn versus another? Are clients using additional products on their lawns (hopefully not)? I could ask many more questions but the simple fact is this...

WE USE THE SAME MACHINES, SAME PROCEDURES, SAME PRODUCTS ON EVERY LAWN. I DO THE SAME THING TO MY LAWN THAT I DO TO ALL OF MY CLIENT'S LAWNS! NO CLIENT RECEIVES ADDITIONAL SPECIAL TREATMENT(S) OR CARE THAN ANOTHER...UNLESS THAT CLIENT CALLS. LET ME REPEAT THAT....................UNLESS YOU CALL, WE CAN ONLY ASSUME EVERYTHING IS OKAY!!!!!

WE CAN NOT LOOK AT A CLIENT'S LAWN EVERY WEEK. IF WE DID THIS, OTHER LAWNS (WHICH COULD BE YOURS) WOULD NOT BE SERVICED. I ALWAYS SAY, IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION OR CONCERN...JUST CALL. WE WILL BE THERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this season may have caused.

Thank you for patience and for realizing that I give 100% towards every lawn!

TIP OF THE DAY...We are only a phone call away!
